2020 Special Events
August 15th Ride In
Islip Horsemen's Assoc. has new rules in which the club needs to abide by in order to maintain Covid-19 safety and reduce the spread as per Suffolk County Parks.
*Ride In's are limited to 50 people therefore you MUST SIGN UP AND PRE PAY BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE RIDE IN.
*Walk ins will not be allowed nor is paying the day of.
*If a rider is under the age of 18 years old, one parent/guardian is allowed to accompany. Please advise when signing up if a parent/guardian will be attending.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT if a trainer, barn owner, transporter, etc is planning to accompany you, they must be signed up prior also (please use the form below). Anyone who is not signed up/paid for the day of the event will be asked to leave.
*Open to members only; $15.00/rider. PRE PAY ONLY. Spectators are FREE.
*Each person must check in at the booth or designed area (even those on foot). Each person attending will have to be screened, sign a waiver along with having temperature taken. Anyone who is showing signs/symptoms of Covid-19 or a temp over 100 degrees will be asked to leave.
*There will be designated ENTRANCE and EXIT ONLY to the main area.
*There will be no porter potty's.
*Everyone must practice social distancing. There will be 6ft markers set up along the rails.
*Masks must be worn when you are within 6ft of someone. A mask is not required when you are mounted however we ask you do not get close to other riders.
*IHA has the right to refuse entry and ask person(s) to leave if found in non compliance with the rules.

Once you enter we will send you over the COVID-19 procedures and IHA Releases to be signed and brought with you the day of the event. We will not be accepting cash the day of the event or any post entries.
Once entries are in we will be splitting the day up in groups of 15 Rides with an hour of warmup before.
We will also have some obstacles set up at the August 15th Ride In, if you haven't signed up yet you may one to.

If you are on the property you are considered and auditor and need to pay the audit fee and register in advance.
