Youth Group
The IHA Youth Group is where the future of the Long Island horse community begins!
Our youth members are the next generation of riders, leaders and ambassadors for our sport and we are proud to support and inspire them every step of the way.
Open to all IHA members age 17 and under, the Youth Group offers a welcoming environment where kids can grow both in and out of the saddle. Members participate in youth meetings, hands-on clinics, special events and fun activities designed to build horsemanship, confidence and friendships that last a lifetime.
Beyond riding, our Youth Group members also learn what it truly means to be part of a community. From volunteering to helping at events, kids gain firsthand experience in giving back and supporting the equine world that gives us all so much.
Whether you’re looking to learn, make new friends, try something new, or just have fun with fellow horse lovers, the IHA Youth Group is the place to be. Come grow with us and be part of shaping the future of Long Island’s horse community!
The IHA Youth Group also hosts the Annual Jack Benny Horse Show every October. This is a fun show that is trotting only and open to anyone 25 years or older.
