We host 3 shows in the summer months at the Bohemia Equestrian Center.
Our shows give equestrians the chance the showcase their western pleasure mounts in a fun and supportive environment. These wonderful halter and performance horses and riders show and polish their showmanship and smooth transitions before an enthusiastic audience.
We offer classes in Halter, Showmanship, In-Hand Trail, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail and Reining. Many divisions to suit the handlers and riders are presented.
Our shows are schooling shows and judges are often brought in from out of state, giving our riders additional advice and encouragement. That is what our club is all about!

We are very happy to announce that we will be adding a Buckaroo Walk Jog Division.
This division will be for youth riders 12 years and younger.
Buckaroo Showmanship
Buckaroo Horsemanship
Buckaroo Pleasure
The classes will have the same pattern for all three shows, to help the little ones remember easily. We have decided to allow past entries of the regular walk jog division to come back to buckaroo as long as they meet the age requirement and have not won a grand or reserve end of the year in the regular walk-jog.
The requirements for moving up out of buckaroo will be the same as the other divisions, you can only be grand or reserve end of year two times or three years maximum in the division. We will be allowing buckaroo riders to ride two handed in any bit.
We are bringing back Color Breed Halter. It will follow class 1 Halter and be judged on the horse's confirmation. This class is open to all riders/handlers.
Just like halter and in hand trail it will have its own end of year award.
All horses of color can enter, paints, appaloosas, palominos, roans, buckskins, & duns.
We are permanently combining the beginner and green division, if entries pick back up we will re evaluate the combination.
It will be eligible to riders that have advanced out of walk jog on any level horse or any level rider on a green horse that has not shown in the past.
We are allowing you to ride two handed in a snaffle or bozel on any age horse, or one handed in a shanked bit.
Moving up will remain the same, two grand or reserve end of years or three years maximum. If you advanced out of our green division previously you are not eligible to return unless its on a different green horse.
A change regarding reining.
To qualify for an end of year award you must score in 2 out of 3 shows.
We will hold the reining classes at all three shows, ribbons and prize money will be given out at each show but in order to qualify for an end of year award you must score at 2 out of 3 shows and be a member prior to your first class.
Ranch Pleasure
With some discussion after the clinic, the committee tied up the loose ends concerning the ranch classes, and eliminated any confusion that may have arisen. With the information we received at the clinic, we changed the Ranch offerings a little bit. We would like to thank the generous donation from Aquebogue Health & Chiropractic for allowing us to create a small Ranch division! Please take not of the following: · We will be offering a Ranch Rail Pleasure class (no pattern), as well as a Ranch Riding class (patterns will be posted shortly on the FB page) · The previous posting for rules from Stock Horse of Texas still applies, however, the patterns for the Stock Horse Pleasure class will not apply, as there will be none. · We will still allow cross entry from Western Pleasure for this year only. · If you show in an class in which you lope, you will not be permitted to show in the Intro classes of the Ranch Pleasure division.
